ASLPreschool.org
came about with a grant from the Ohio Department of Education,
Early Childhood Education.
The Ohio School for the Deaf was given
the charge to create a website that was kid friendly that
could be used by preschool teachers in conjunction with
deaf and hard of hearing students across the state. Studies
prove that there is a correlation between early language
acquisition and life long learning success.
ASLPreschool.org
makes a connection in American Sign Language with real
world objects that a preschool aged child encounters day
to day in an engaging way.
