My first involvement with the Deaf community happened when I was hired to manage a department at the Ohio School for the Deaf 4 years ago.
Learning ASL is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. My supervisor is Deaf and there are Deaf team members on my staff so it was important that I could communicate with them. Also I wanted to interact with all the children on campus. They are really the best teachers of sign language.
I’m still learning and improving my skills.
Working on this project as the Team Leader has been truly fun. I hope you enjoy the web site and visit it often.
