Hi! I'm Michael Myers, Lead Technical Specialist for this project. I have worked for over 11 years in the Network Administration and Telecommunication industries. My family and I are all hearing, though I do have some hearing loss in one ear.

A few years ago my wife and I decided we both wanted to learn American Sign Language, so we started attending Columbus State Community College in their Interpreting program. I am almost finished with my degree in Interpreting/ASL Education.

My wife is currently a free-lance interpreter. I think its wonderful that we both share the same enthusiasm for sign language and the Deaf.

I'm excited that this project allowed me to combine my love of ASL and Deaf community with my love of technology, and hope to continue to use both in my future career.
